Biography
Jean-Pierre Sanchez, alias Pizarre, born in 1940 and died in 2020 is a painter of the new reality who graduated from the Fine Arts of Nîmes in the 1950s.
Pizarre looks back on the key events of an artistic journey rich in many encounters and achievements in an interview with Anne Devailly, editor-in-chief of Artists Occitanie, and then presents her work, with a selection of works that covers more than sixty years of paintings, drawings and collages, made in oil, gouache, charcoal or felt.
