Stephan Joachim

Stephan Joachim is a photographer, director, stage and costume designer for theaters. He started taking pictures when he was 6 years old.

While working in theaters, he began to photograph more and more opera and ballet productions. By now he is officially considered a specialist of this genre.

For several years, his works have become more artistic and he initiated this new era of style: his works are now influenced by nude elements of fine art. And he developed his personal style based on his photographs, putting them on materials like canvas or metal plates and combining them with paint, gold leaf, shellac and more.

Stephan Joachim lives and works in Germany. His work won awards at Best Of Photovogue in Germany in 2016 and 2018. His work has been published in magazines and he has participated in many exhibitions ("Dance! Blood! Love!" in Lübeck, 2019 "Untitled" in Munich in 1999...).
