Wouter van Houten

As both an artist and a chef, Wouter Houten has mastered the art of transforming life's experiences into something extraordinary. His bronze sculptures celebrate the moments, memories, and emotions that stay with us, bringing the same passion, precision, and creativity found in his culinary craftsmanship into the world of art.

Inspired by the playful and vibrant spirit of Pop Art, Wouter reimagines iconic imagery and everyday objects as bold, expressive sculptures. His work blends nostalgia, contemporary culture, and a touch of humor, transforming the familiar into something unexpected and extraordinary.

Each creation tells a story, inviting viewers to rediscover the beauty in everyday life through a fresh and imaginative perspective.

"Art is about bringing together all the little pieces of life,  everything you've seen, everything you've learned, and everything that truly fascinates you, and transforming them into something new. Something magical."
