Biography
Miguel Macaya is originally from Santander, he is a Spanish painter born in 1964. Macaya obtained his diploma in drawing, painting and sculpting in 1982, after which he began traveling through Europe.
"Michel Macaya highlights the magnificent", wrote the author Enrique Lynch, about him.
His creations are exhibited worldwide, galleries in Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Marseilles, Amsterdam...Several museums have depicted Macaya's creations during personal exhibitions, especially the Municipal Museum of Beranga, Vila Casas Foundation in Barcelona,Casa de Vacas in Madrid, to name a few. Miguel Macaya has also presented his work during contemporary art fairs (Arco in Madrid, St'Art in Strasbourg, Holland Art Fair…). Some of his work was even purchased by foundations.
