Biography

Shi Ding, painter born in the 1970s, original creator of new traditional Chinese folk painting and representative figure of the new school of opera and painting. In 2010, he held the solo exhibition “The Beauty of Life" and became the first painter to hold a solo exhibition at Capital University Hall in a century. In 2017, it was selected for the “Lao She Dian Opera Famous Invitational Exhibition" and 68 opera paintings were collected by the Shandong Jinan Culture and Art Museum; in 2020, his works were selected for the Drama Rhythm, Danqing and Opera Painting Exhibition of the National Performing Arts Center, and two works were collected by the National Performing Arts Museum.
