Simon Findlay trabaja su relación personal con el color a través de una expresión visual exhaustiva y duradera.
Como parte de su práctica artística basada en procesos, algunas de las performances que ha realizado incluyen: lanzar piedras en una tormenta de nieve usando solo pantalones cortos, usando solo el color azul durante un año, explorando diferentes herramientas como escobas largas y flexibles y palos para extender el pincel, rasgar y reformar lienzos, arrojar pintura dentro de un cubo transparente con músicos que lo acompañan y "Pararse encima de una lavadora para tirar al suelo botellas de vino llenas de pintura".
Reside en Berlín, Alemania desde 2016. Antes estuvo en Melbourne, Australia.
