Presentación
Jesús Torío es un artista visual y enfermero andaluz que trabaja con la fotografía. Su práctica artística se basa en experiencias personales, sobre todo en su trabajo como enfermero en un hospital. En su arte, explora temas de color y abstracción, con el objetivo de crear imágenes que inspiren un estado de meditación y reflexión, permitiendo al espectador descubrir sus propias interpretaciones y significados.
Las fotografías de Torio se han expuesto en galerías y festivales de toda Europa. Entre ellas se encuentran: Out of the Blue Photography Exhibition, Edimburgo, Reino Unido; AOP Awards Finalist Exhibition, Edimburgo, Reino Unido; Young Talent Dior, Arles Photo Festival, LUMA, Arles, Francia; Copeland Gallery, Londres, Reino Unido; y Meet You Festival, Teatro Calderón, Valladolid, España.
En 2022, fue seleccionado como Laureado de los Premios Dior para Jóvenes Talentos. También ha sido dos veces finalista de los AOP Student Awards, así como finalista de los British Photography Awards. Torio fue uno de los artistas seleccionados en los COCA Project Awards y en los LensCulture Open Awards.
