Biografía
John Kenny es un fotógrafo autodidacta que se enamoró del arte en 2003. Los magníficos retratos de John Kenny tomados en África documentan sociedades tribales orgullosas de sus tradiciones y herencia cultural. A medida que el continente se urbaniza cada vez más y aumenta la presión ambiental sobre las personas que viven en las afueras del mundo moderno, estas imágenes se han vuelto preciosas y raras. John Kenny tomó fotografías en los valles del sur de Etiopía y el desierto del norte de Kenia, las regiones áridas de África occidental, las regiones desérticas del sur de Namibia y Angola. Los rostros emergen de las sombras, iluminados por una luz natural suave y difusa. Su obra "Líneas que conducen a la perfección" fue subastada en Sotheby's en Nueva York en noviembre de 2011. Su libro "Facing Africa / L'Afrique en face" se publicó en 2013.
