This work of art is a fascinating mixture of abstract and figurative elements. At the center of the painting is a female figure with a disproportionately large head with grey-blue eyes and a coolness that seems expressionless at first glance. Only the eyes betray a hidden sensuality, which is protected, as it were, by the coolness of her appearance. The stylized arms and hands appear fragile and draw attention to the human fragility and emotions that resonate in this work.
The architectural elements lend the work depth and create an exciting contrast to the central figure. The buildings are architectural quotations from Strasbourg.
This work of art fascinates with its combination of simplicity and complexity and invites the viewer to look beneath the surface and find their own interpretation.
