Presentation
JP Wisniewski is a watercolor artist from Picardy, born in 1966 and professional since 2020.
A scientist by training, he has always been passionate about drawing and painting. As a teenager, he used graphite and colored pencils to draw mainly animals. Evening classes he took for two consecutive years at the École des Beaux-Arts in Orléans opened his eyes to other horizons. But it wasn't until he received a watercolor set as a gift that his journey with this medium began. Self-taught, exploring the many technical possibilities of watercolor quickly became a passion, but his practice was long limited due to lack of time. Twenty years later, at the crossroads of a career change, his exploration is back in full swing to master this technique.
In 2019, he offered his services to create custom watercolors on commission. He also took online classes with Andy Evansen and Janine Gallizia. In 2021, he collaborated with a century-old hunting school in Germany to create a dozen visuals relating to their history.
Since fall 2020, he has been teaching weekly classes for beginners and above. He regularly collaborates with various associations to offer discovery courses.
