Biographie
Jeune artiste émergent, Nathan Chantob a suivi une formation de peintre illustrateur en Belgique mais c'est avant tout l'école de la rue qui lui donne une identité. Influencé par des noms tels qu'Egon Schiele, Freud, Munch ce jeune artiste se laisse aussi séduire par d'illustres inconnus qu'il rencontre sur les lieux des graffs.
Nathan Chantob travaille sans relâche, propose des œuvres de plus en plus percutantes, une technique maitrisée et nous renvoie à des émotions surprenantes. Il nous interpelle, nous captive par des portraits inoubliables, des regards qui nous lient aux œuvres. Son travail est marqué par son utilisation récurrente de la peinture beige, qu'il révèle dans toutes ses teintes pour la carnation de ses sujets.
Nathan Chantob a notamment remporté plusieurs prix comme le Prix Spécial 2011 de la société nationale des Beaux Arts au Carrousel du Louvre.
