Description
The work presents a fascinating portrait made with swirling and dynamic lines, using mainly blue and orange tones. The artist masters the technique of doodling to express the complexity and emotional depth of the face. The captivating, almost living eyes seem to stare at the viewer, establishing an immediate connection. The facial features, although abstract, reveal an exceptional mastery of movement and form. The bold contrast between the cool blue and vibrant orange enriches the composition and adds a dimension of warmth and mystery. The unique style of this work defies traditional artistic conventions, favoring raw and instinctive expression. Undeniably, this portrait is a bold statement of contemporary art, captivating in its immediacy and freshness.
Presentation
Ayoka Zahir is a contemporary painter, born in 1982 in Laon. He developed an early passion for art, spending many hours drawing from a young age.
His emergence as an artist is relatively a second life for him. Indeed, after obtaining his secondary school diploma, he embarked on a long career in the banking sector, occupying positions of responsibility within the Trading Rooms of Ecobank, Société Générale and BNP.
His passion for art resurfaced during the Covid pandemic in 2020.
He started drawing again, then those close to him (especially his colleagues) pushed him to paint and graffiti. Almost like a revelation, this experience gives him the opportunity to explore his talent and perfect his skills. Through his natural curiosity, he began to develop different identities, which result in an eclectic artistic universe.
Each personality could be a different signature. Before starting to exhibit her work, Ayoka Zahir had already sold around fifty of her works. An absolute fan of Star Wars, the artist remained anonymous for a long time to his collectors. Indeed, Ayoka Zahir delivered her works with a Darth Vader mask.
Ayoka Zahir's work is characterized by its diversity and daring mastery
autodidact of color, texture and shape and materials.
