Description
This artwork features a bold and structured graphic composition, featuring carafes and a glass arranged in an abstract manner. Geometric shapes dominate, with thick black outlines contrasting sharply against a textured, modulated background of beige and gray. The intersecting and intertwining lines give a sense of movement while remaining fixed in a complex grid. The minimal use of color reinforces the work's modern and clean appearance. The slightly tilted vessels suggest a dynamic and contemporary approach. The ensemble evokes both stability and instability, playing with the viewer's perception and offering an intriguing interpretation of still life. This juxtaposition of simplicity and complexity makes this work particularly striking.
Presentation
Born in Albi in 1965, she spent much of her life exploring various artistic practices with a specialization in sculpture and engraving.
His career was marked by a turning point in 2016 after a serious health problem which pushed him to devote himself entirely to his Art.
His works reflect a dialogue between contrasting materials, such as paper and iron, and address themes such as the passage of time, memory and human relationships.
His project "only stories" is emblematic of this approach, evoking intimate and universal stories through abstract and figurative forms.
