Description
The elongated vertical format lifts the eye and gives a room height. It works above a console or a fireplace, along a hallway, on a stairwell wall, or as a single focal point in a reception area. Copper against grey and white belongs naturally in interiors built on neutral tones, stone, wood and metal — contemporary, minimalist and modern luxury alike.
A large-scale abstract painting in a tall vertical format, built on texture and light: copper runs in long vertical veins through white and pearl, and the resin surface shifts with the hour and the angle of view, reading warm and metallic in daylight and deeper towards the evening. The effect is close to a cut section of stone — marble opened along its grain. Close up the detail holds the eye; from across the room the panel reads as a single column of colour.
This is one panel of the diptych Sillage, painted on canvas and finished with epoxy resin. The diptych is presented either as two panels together or separately, and in this listing the panel is offered as an independent work in its own right. Each panel measures 50 × 150 cm. Both panels together are available on turikart.com.
Presented at Art Capital, Grand Palais, Paris, 2026.
Presentation
I am a contemporary abstract artist working under the name Kseniia Turik -Turik & Art, based between Paris and Marbella, with a background in luxury interior design. Working with private clients on refined interiors, I kept searching for the one artwork that would complete the space. That search eventually led me to create my own.
I create large-scale works in acrylic, art resin and lacquer, conceived for private residences. Each piece carries emotion, movement and energy, and does not simply exist within a space but transforms it.
I have exhibited at Art Capital, Grand Palais, Paris, in 2025 and 2026; at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum; at the Salon des Indépendants at the China National Convention Center in Beijing and the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center; at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris; and at the Contemporary Art Fair in Marbella. My works are held in private collections internationally.
Every piece is unique. On request, I also create commissioned works tailored to the colour palette, energy and atmosphere of a specific interior.
I am the author of Seven Voices, a documentary project in which seven people meet a single painting for the first time and answer the same seven questions, independently and without knowing what the others said. All episodes are available on YouTube.
