This vivid composition merges geometric precision with organic flow. A central visage emerges from a kaleidoscope of shifting tones. Symmetrical curves create a sense of meditative stillness. The eyes remain closed, suggesting an internal journey or a state of deep reflection. 
Acrylics on leather lend a unique texture to the surface. Bright yellows and deep blues clash and harmonize in rhythmic waves. The application of color feels intuitive, almost hypnotic. 
The artwork explores themes of identity and universal belonging. It transcends borders through a language of symbols and abstract shapes. Fluid lines suggest a spiritual transit, mirroring a process of creative trance. 
Every arc and angle contributes to a balanced, totemic energy. The piece captures a fleeting dream or a hidden psychological mark. It stands as a vibrant investigation into the mysteries of the human experience. The composition concludes with a meticulously detailed band of fragmented patterns across the lower center.

The artist was inspired by African masks and traditional Brasilian folk art sculptures called Carrancas which are wood sculptures attached to the prows of riverboats that are meant to ward off evil spirits.
These works are unique in their creation because paint is applied behind the surface being used which in this case is plexiglass. It can be considered a reverse glass painting technique.

Almo wonders about his identity, the countries he has lived in, his daily routine and how he creates himself. An outsider who has made the world his home, skin, and citizenship, and through his artwork, he safeguards it in an attempt to explore the mysteries that pass through. Whether they are symbols, dreams or marks of the life of each of us.
