Description
A golden radiance envelopes this conceptual composition. Two feminine figures stand in intimate proximity. Their faces remain blank. This void invites contemplation. It suggests a universal identity beyond individual traits. The artist celebrates femininity through an explosion of intricate patterns. Every garment becomes a tapestry of vivid hues. Deep blues merge with electric pinks and emerald greens. The geometric motifs suggest a cultural richness. Precise lines define the elegant curves of their necks. The headwear acts as a crown of color. Oil on canvas allows for a saturated depth. Symbols of resilience and strength emerge from these ornamental details. The contrast between the empty faces and the ornate clothing creates a psychological tension. It speaks to the duality of the inner self and the outer persona. Each stroke contributes to a rhythmic visual harmony. The figures lean toward each other in a silent dialogue. The background remains a flat, luminous gold. This choice elevates the scene to a timeless plane. The artwork captures a moment of profound connection and quiet introspection.
Presentation
Antonio Mariconda, a lawyer by profession, has always passionately cultivated the study of every form of art.
In particular, painting has been his faithful and reserved companion since the days of his university studies.
He started to exhibit his works in various public events only few years ago for the pleasure of interacting with unknown visitors.
His strength lies in the use of colors and the fascinating patterns he creates with them.
Mariconda's artistic ability is given by his ability to capture the essence of his subjects which become vibrant and expressive on his canvas..
One aspect that sets Mariconda apart is his dedication to celebrating women through his artwork.
With a harmonious blend of colors, he portrays the beauty, strength and resilience of women and tells their stories.
Each stroke seems to bring the canvas to life, capturing the very essence of femininity and their psychological journeys.
Mariconda transmits emotions through color. He understands that colors have the power to evoke various feelings and moods. With a keen eye for detail and an innate understanding of color theory, he creates original compositions that leave an impression on everyone who views them.
The patterns that Mariconda creates with colors are simply fascinating. He effortlessly blends hues, creating intricate designs that draw viewers into a world full of beauty and wonder.
Since 2020 the Tobian Art Gallery has been selling his work to international collectors.
