Description
The artwork here, "Golden Waves Original", is a wonderful depiction of a beach at sunset, that is saturated with acute detail and vibrant color throughout. Making it one of the nicest paintings by Tom Linker we have ever made available. Also, measuring approximately 30" x 40" and 38" x 47" with the high-quality, custom frame, the immaculate artwork is of impressive craftsmanship and size, one of his largest too. This oil painting on canvas has remained in excellent condition since Linker completed it. The artwork is signed in the lower right, and comes with a Gallery Letter of Authenticity.
Tom Linker's art has been exhibited in major museums and appears in some of the most prestigious public and private collections worldwide. Now, this authentic work can be part of yours, professionally packaged for domestic or international shipment. Please contact us with any questions, and don't forget to submit your offer.
Every item comes with free custom framing. We have wood frames with gold, silver, black, or brown finishes to offer you. Please note that in order to preserve the quality of the artwork and condition of the frame, most items are framed at the time of purchase. Due to issues within the supply chain and delays with framing products availability, the frame you see pictured might not be currently available. If we do not hear from you regarding your framing options we will do our best to frame it in a similar style and color.
Presentation
TOM LINKER (1936 - ): Tom Linker is an American painter from Pennsylvania known for his landscapes and still-life paintings. Born in 1936, he has drawn much of his subject matter from the rural scenery and waterways of eastern Pennsylvania, particularly Bucks and Montgomery Counties, as well as the broader landscapes of the eastern seaboard. His work reflects a deep appreciation for the countryside, the sea, and the changing effects of light and atmosphere. Linker works in both oil and pastel and has also explored mixed-media and abstract approaches. His paintings include views of the Delaware and Raritan Canals, Bucks County roads and landscapes, New England scenery, and floral still lifes. In later work, Linker has incorporated greater abstraction and expressive experimentation, describing his artistic process as a continuing conversation between the artist and the work. His paintings have been exhibited in galleries including Sandra Phillips Gallery and Spark Gallery and have appeared in the American art market and private collections.
