Description
Veiled Gaze — Mariem Mekni

Presentation
Mariem Mekni was born in 1991. Her artistic practice revolves around oil and acrylic painting — two mediums she approaches with sustained curiosity and a confident chromatic sensibility.
Her work does not seek to describe the external world. It captures its inner resonances. Each canvas is a space of controlled tension: between the spontaneity of gesture and the rigorous construction of composition, between the density of material and the lightness of light.
An artist in full development of her pictorial language, Mariem Mekni builds a practice that is deeply inhabited — where colour is never merely decorative, but a carrier of meaning, memory and emotion.
Represented by Abstract Art Gallery, her original works are available for private collectors and prestige spaces seeking a singular artistic presence.
