The artwork here, "Balancing Gravity", is an intricate depiction of a board leaned against a wall as other objects appear to be floating above its surface, that is saturated with acute detail and vibrant color throughout, making it one of nicest paintings by Yasami we have ever made available. Measuring approximately 20" x 20" and 28" x 28" with the high-quality frame made specifically for this painting, the immaculate artwork is of impressive craftsmanship and size. Finally, it has remained in excellent condition since it was completed by Yasami in 1980, is hand signed in the upper left corner, and comes with a Gallery Letter of Authenticity.

Presentation
MASOUD YASAMI (1949 - ): Masoud Yasami is an Iranian-born American painter and sculptor known for his imaginative, multidimensional compositions exploring light, space, balance, and visual illusion. Born in Khorramshahr, Iran, he moved to the United States in 1968 and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Oregon State University in 1974 and a Master of Fine Arts from Arizona State University in 1977. Yasami taught at several universities, including the University of Utah and Arizona State University. His artwork often plays with gravity and perception, depicting spheres, rods, architectural forms, and other objects that seem to bend, float, or shift out of balance. Working with a range of materials and techniques, he creates striking effects that blur the boundary between abstraction and realism. His work has been exhibited internationally and is represented in public, corporate, and private collections, including the Utah Museum of Fine Arts and the ASU Art Museum.
