Description

A luminous ochre-gold background holds a dense network of dark green, brown, red, and white forms. Branching lines and clustered shapes spread through the composition with an organic rhythm, while small white details and red accents create moments of contrast within the darker central structure.

The work is part of Larissa Mayorova's 365 Days project of 2013–2014, during which she created one small artwork every day for an entire year. Each piece captured a single day through an intuitive process shaped by color, memory, imagination, and the changing rhythm of everyday experience.

Together, the 365 works originally formed an installation approximately 7 × 3 meters in size, exhibited in several historic venues and châteaux in Haute-Savoie, France. Each work was identified only by its date, and this individual artwork preserves its original position within that chronological sequence.

Offered separately from the installation, it is particularly appealing to collectors interested in abstract art, artist diaries, serial projects, and works connected to time and creative practice. Its rich gold and green palette also gives it an intimate decorative presence for a study, library, gallery wall, or contemporary interior.

Materials: Oil on canvas.

Shipping / Display: Ready to hang. The artwork is shipped in a protective box.

Presentation

Larissa Mayorova (larissaart) is a contemporary professional artist based in France, living and working on the shores of Lake Geneva.

Originally from Russia, where she studied painting, fine arts and theatrical decorative art, she moved to France in 2003 and continued developing her artistic practice through painting, exhibitions and independent artistic projects.

Her works are regularly presented in solo and group exhibitions in France and across Europe. Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous contemporary art salons, cultural events and international exhibitions, including Art en Capital in Paris, as well as exhibitions in Cannes and other European cities.

Larissa Mayorova is also a laureate of the Fondation Taylor in Paris and has received recognition from the Société des Artistes Français.
Known for her atmospheric paintings exploring mist, reflections, textured surfaces and poetic symbolism, Larissa Mayorova creates dreamlike visual worlds suspended between memory, perception and imagination.
Inspired by the landscapes surrounding Lake Geneva, Venice, water, birch forests, mist and changing light, her work combines experimentation with materials and textures alongside emotional and symbolic imagery. Her paintings often explore the fragility of perception and the shifting boundary between reality and memory. Her Maine Coon cats, which are part of her everyday life, also appear as recurring poetic presences within her artistic universe.
