Description
The artwork here, "At the Market", is an alluring illustration of two women shopping in the city streets, that is saturated with acute detail and vibrant color, making it one of nicest paintings by Niblett we have ever made available. Furthermore, the immaculate artwork is of impressive craftsmanship and versatile size, measuring approximately 14" x 18" and 24" x 28" with the high-quality frame made specifically for this painting. Finally, it has remained in excellent condition since it was completed by Niblett, is hand signed in the lower right corner (also singed on the verso), and comes with a Gallery Letter of Authenticity.
This spectacular and bold oil painting on canvas by Gary Niblett, that was originally purchased from Nedra Matteucci Galleries (Santa Fe, NM, reference #PA11518), and retails for significantly more than our asking price. Niblett is forever famous for the brilliant color, exquisite detail, passionate expression and many other traits that his artworks exhibit. Additionally, of all his masterpieces, often the most desired images are intricate portraits. Like the one here, which gives the viewer fascinating insight into Niblett's full realm of remarkable genius as it combines his most coveted subjects and finest talents.
Gary Niblett's art has been exhibited in major museums around the world, and can be found in some of the most prestigious public and private collections worldwide. Now, this authentic item can be part of yours as it will be professionally packaged to ship domestically or Internationally. Therefore please contact us if you have any questions and do not forget to submit your offer.
Every item comes with free custom framing. We have wood frames with gold, silver, black, or brown finishes to offer you. Please note that in order to preserve the quality of the artwork and condition of the frame, most items are framed at the time of purchase. If we do not hear from you regarding your framing options, we will do our best to frame it in a similar style and color.

GARY NIBLETT (1943 - ): Gary Niblett is an American Western artist and Cowboy Artists of America Emeritus member, recognized for his evocative portrayals of the American West and its people. Born and raised in Carlsbad, New Mexico, he moved to California after graduating from high school and studied at the Art Center School of Design. He spent eight years working as a background artist for Hanna-Barbera Studios while developing his own artistic style. In 1973, he left commercial art to devote himself entirely to Western painting, and in 1976 he was elected to the Cowboy Artists of America. Returning to New Mexico, Niblett continued to build a national and international reputation. Working primarily in oil, while also comfortable with watercolor, he creates thoughtful scenes that explore the human spirit, everyday life, and the enduring character of the American West. His work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Grand Palais in France and venues in Germany, Moscow, Taiwan, Beijing, and London. His art has appeared in publications including , , and . In 1990, he was named Distinguished Calendar Artist for , and one of his large oil paintings hangs in the New Mexico State Capitol in Santa Fe.
