Description
A bold composition is imposed by a play of stark chromatic contrasts.
The eye circulates between blocks of deep blue and a tender pink.
The line, black and assured, delineates organic and stylized forms.
Two figures intertwine in a fragmented space.
The structure fragments into geometric zones where yellow and green punctuate the scene.
Perspective fades in favor of an assumed bidimensionality.
The artist explores the decomposition of the human body with a synthetic approach.
The visual balance rests on the tension between curved lines and sharp angles.
Some red and blue stars float in the upper part, bringing a dreamlike dimension.
The material is applied uniformly, without a search for traditional volume.
The whole exudes an immediate clarity thanks to a saturated palette.
The artist's signature appears discreetly in the bottom right corner.
Presentation
Young Parisian artist, Xavier de Vilmorin invites you to join his colorful, dreamy and nostalgic universe illustrated by acrylic, oil and dry pastel paintings.
He discovered his passion for drawing at a very young age. But it was during his second year at animation school that he painted his first canvas, in the depths of the 17th arrondissement.
Known for his personal style, he combines simple geometric shapes with bold hues.
Between love and passion, you immerse yourself in an atypical, touching and inspiring world. It offers a real duel of colors having cubism and expressionism as sources of inspiration.
Find the unique touch of an artist to represent materials and light, to capture an atmosphere and a moment.
Xavier de Vilmorin quickly attracted the attention of the artistic community and was invited to exhibit his works in Parisian exhibitions. He continues to work on new projects and develop as an artist.
