Description
A bold composition where bodies intertwine in a play of clear colors. The black line draws generous, almost sculptural silhouettes that occupy the space with assurance.
The contrast between soft pink, deep blue, and bright red creates an immediate visual tension. The shapes interlock, suggesting a dance or an embrace suspended in an abstract setting.
The background fragments into geometric zones, mixing sharp blocks of color with graphic hatching. A few subtle details, such as discreet stars in the turquoise sky, add a dreamlike dimension to the scene.
The material is applied frankly, revealing the grain of the canvas. This work on volumetry transforms human anatomy into a chromatic landscape.
The movement is driven by strong diagonals, particularly in the position of the legs that anchor the scene. The whole rests on a fragile balance between abstraction and figuration, where each colored area defines a new spatial plane.
Presentation
Young Parisian artist, Xavier de Vilmorin invites you to join his colorful, dreamy and nostalgic universe illustrated by acrylic, oil and dry pastel paintings.
He discovered his passion for drawing at a very young age. But it was during his second year at animation school that he painted his first canvas, in the depths of the 17th arrondissement.
Known for his personal style, he combines simple geometric shapes with bold hues.
Between love and passion, you immerse yourself in an atypical, touching and inspiring world. It offers a real duel of colors having cubism and expressionism as sources of inspiration.
Find the unique touch of an artist to represent materials and light, to capture an atmosphere and a moment.
Xavier de Vilmorin quickly attracted the attention of the artistic community and was invited to exhibit his works in Parisian exhibitions. He continues to work on new projects and develop as an artist.
