Description
The artwork here, "Into The Day", is a wonderful depiction of a path through the forest with trees brightly illuminated by the sun, that is saturated with acute detail, and vibrant color throughout, making it one of the nicest paintings by Harvey we have ever made available. Also, measuring approximately 40" x 50" and 44" x 54" with the high-quality frame made specifically for this painting, the immaculate artwork is of impressive craftsmanship and size, one of her largest too. Finally, it has remained in excellent condition since being completed by Harvey in 1999, is signed in the lower right corner as well as signed and dated on the verso, and comes with a Gallery Letter of Authenticity.
Michele Harvey's art has been exhibited in major museums, and can be found in some of the most prestigious public and private collections across the globe. Now, this authentic item can be part of yours as it will be professionally packaged to ship domestically or Internationally. Therefore please contact us if you have any questions and do not forget to submit your offer.
Every item comes with free custom framing. We have wood frames with gold, silver, black, or brown finishes to offer you. Please note that in order to preserve the quality of the artwork and condition of the frame, most items are framed at the time of purchase. Due to issues within the supply chain and delays with framing products availability, the frame you see pictured might not be currently available. If we do not hear from you regarding your framing options we will do our best to frame it in a similar style and color.
Presentation
MICHELE HARVEY (1954 - ): Michele Harvey is an American painter celebrated for her atmospheric landscapes and evocative depictions of forests, trees, and the changing seasons. Originally from the northeastern United States, she developed a lifelong connection to the natural world, translating familiar landscapes into paintings characterized by subtle color, luminous light, and a dreamlike sense of stillness. Working primarily in oil for much of her career, Harvey became known for mist-shrouded woodlands, snow-covered trees, and quiet scenes that balance realism with a romantic, contemplative atmosphere. Her work has been featured in and included in prominent corporate and private collections. In 2012, she held a solo exhibition at the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown, New York. Later, she increasingly focused on watercolor, exploring the beauty of weathered structures, rural settings, and the passage of time through a brighter palette and expressive details. Her paintings continue to reflect a deep appreciation for nature, atmosphere, and the quiet beauty of familiar places.
