Description
On the canvas — a quiet, almost heavenly apparition.
A face is born of light strokes, like a memory emerging from the clouds. Blue and white paints swirl above the head, turning into a flock of birds rising into the air like thoughts or dreams. Their wings touch the sky and the city in the distance, where domes and the outlines of the world are faintly visible.
The face is calm and pensive. The eyes look through space, as if listening to the silence. The lips — a small dot of warm color — are the only living spark amid the cool heavenly hues.
The paint is laid on thickly, in relief, as if the wind itself were sculpting the image out of clouds and water. The birds take flight, and along with them something invisible rises — hope, memory or the soul.
This is a painting about the lightness and fragility of the moment when a person becomes part of the sky.
