Description
Here the city does not speak — it breathes.
Through thick, almost relief-like strokes, the quiet memory of stone, water and sky emerges. Tall buildings, like old organs of time, melt in the cold light, and the canal under the bridge carries blurred reflections, like fragments of dreams.
Pastel grays, lilacs and ashen tones create the feeling of a morning when the world has not yet fully awakened. Only a few warm red accents glow amid this silent melancholy — like a human presence in the vastness of the city.
The texture of the canvas recalls old walls worn by rain and wind. The painting does not describe the place literally — it conveys a mood: the fragility of a moment, the silence after rain, and the beauty born between the chaos of brushstrokes and the light.
