This captivating work depicts a towering skull, symbolizing mortality, surrounded by natural and mechanical elements. Twisted branches rise up, bearing delicate foliage and flowers that contrast with the rigid appearance of the embedded metal gears, evoking the interplay between nature and technology. A bright red circle, evoking a mystical aura, surrounds the skull, adding drama and drawing the eye. Against the dark background, bursts of light highlight the meticulously crafted details, creating an atmosphere that is both dark and haunting. Each element is carefully positioned to evoke an unexpected harmony between life, death and mechanism. The graphic style is reminiscent of fantasy worlds, reinforcing the unique and hypnotic character of this bold visual composition.
Presentation
Street actor and screen-graffiti artist since the mid-1990s, fan of alternative cultures, RNST explores and has fun with urban art in forms as diverse as graffiti, poster creation, collage and stencils. From 2009 he officially reinvested in the streets around intense work with stencils and gluing of screen prints. His workshop is a street outpost in which he mixes recipes, colors and genres. RNST's speech and work are imbued with two constants: provocative and romanticism. This graphic activist reminds us that current events and public space must not escape us and this is where the artist comes to position himself.
