Description
This artwork reimagines a classic fairy tale through a provocative, contemporary lens. A central figure commands the space. She wears a deep crimson hood and cloak. The fabric flows with a heavy, tactile quality. Beneath the cloak, a structured black corset cinches the waist. It creates a sharp contrast against the white puff sleeves and red ruffled skirt. The composition plays with perspective and modesty. The lifted hem reveals a daring glimpse of lingerie. This tension transforms a childhood story into an exploration of adult desire.
The background is a textured collage. Fragments of weathered newsprint blend with earthy browns and red splatters. It evokes a feeling of urban decay or a forgotten archive. This gritty environment clashes with the polished skin and vivid colors of the subject. The gaze is direct and knowing. It challenges the viewer. The wicker basket remains a subtle nod to the original narrative. Every detail balances the line between innocence and seduction. The lighting is soft yet precise. It highlights the curvature of the form and the richness of the textiles. This piece merges digital precision with a street-art aesthetic.
Presentation
The artist IPR Graph lives and works in Alicante, Spain, where he develops his artistic practice in his own studio and gallery. He began his career in the field of modern art, sculpture, and professional figurative painting, disciplines in which he acquired a solid technical and conceptual background. However, it was his fascination with Pop Art and the dynamism of urban art that led him to find a freer contemporary language, free from traditional artistic constraints, allowing him to express himself with complete creative independence.
His work is part of the convergence of neo-expressionism, urban art, and contemporary pop culture, establishing a personal style characterized by visual power, chromatic energy, and iconic power. In his works, IPR Graph reinterprets universal figures from film, music, sports, manga, Japanese anime, and video games, constructing an imaginary world where cultural icons become symbols of collective memory.
Each piece is an exercise in emotional and psychological reinterpretation, where vibrant colors, urban graphics, typographic collages, and intense pictorial gestures create powerful portraits and scenes. These figures are recognizable not only by their imagery but also by the expressive and symbolic meaning they convey, generating a dialogue between the viewer and contemporary visual culture.
Inspired by street art, collage, and modern expressionism, IPR Graph transforms his canvases into an experimental field of great aesthetic freedom. There, the gestural, the iconic, and the popular blend, giving rise to works that are simultaneously provocative and refined, with a strong contemporary feel.
The works presented in this auction are high-quality giclée reproductions on professional canvas, durable and long-lasting. Each one belongs to a limited edition of only 10 numbered copies worldwide, making them exclusive, collectible pieces, intended for an audience that values both aesthetic strength and uniqueness in contemporary art.
