Description
This captivating bronze sculpture depicts an elegant and graceful woman, whose fluid and slender silhouette evokes a serene and majestic presence. Her long dress flows with remarkable grace, emphasizing refined simplicity. The drapery delicately follows the curves of her body, accentuating her confident posture. Her subtly positioned arms add a dimension of calm and contemplation. Her hair cascades elegantly, adding a touch of movement to the work. Her serene, almost enigmatic face invites the viewer to quiet introspection. The smooth bronze finish lends the piece a modern yet timeless allure. This work is distinguished by its harmonious fusion of minimalism and expression, capturing the essence of a beauty that is both contemporary and classical.
Presentation
Marie-Paule Deville-Chabrolle was born in Morocco in 1952. Painter and sculptor, she now lives and works in France.
The approach of Marie-Paule Deville-Chabrolle is a very personal adventure. Every meeting, every country crossed, each glimpsed image, each emotion felt involved contributes to the creation of her work.
Sculptures and red chalk form a comprehensive approach.
In 1992, it was the pale stone of a house of Burgundy which kept her in the region. She then devoted herself fully to her work.
Three to four personal exhibitions are dedicated to her every year in France.
