Description
This Green heart (aisan woood) and acryllic painted artwork showcases a meticulously crafted sculpture resembling a fragmented torso, elegantly poised on a sleek black stand. The artist employs an innovative design, utilizing a pattern of circular cutouts that give the piece an ethereal, lace-like quality. The surface of the sculpture features an array of iridescent hues, shifting between soft blues, greens, and purples, evoking a sense of movement and depth. This dynamic color play enhances the piece's three-dimensional form and invites the viewer to appreciate it from various angles. The irregular contours of the sculpture contrast sharply with its delicate pattern, creating a balance between strength and fragility. This captivating artwork challenges traditional notions of form and texture, offering a contemporary reimagining of classical sculpture that engages the observer with its intricate details and innovative approach.
Presentation
I am a contemporary artist who primarily works with wooden sculptures using a method called "power carving," which means that I use electric hand tools to sculpt the form. My art is characterized by soft organic shapes inspired by nature, where I like to explore the abstract.
The experimental is a strong driving force in my creative process. I work with a variety of techniques to enhance the expression in my works, including the use of verdigris copper, staining, and painting with acrylics. By combining these materials and methods, unique and innovative sculptures are created.
My works are distinguished by their lively surfaces and unexpected details, where the natural qualities of the wood interact with my experimental vision. Through my sculptures, I want to arouse curiosity and invite reflection on the forms of nature and the possibilities of materials.
