Born in Shanghai, China, artistic fields: painting, drawing, engraving.
1978 Born in Shanghai, China. His father introduced him to photography. He lives and works in Paris.
1993 He trained in diamond setting (for jewelry). Then in 1996 apprenticed at the Shanghai Diamond Factory for a year.
1997 He enters as a graphic designer in advertising, while taking self-taught courses at Shanghai Normal University (Decorative Art Design section), graduated in 2001.
2002 Arrived in France to follow my art studies. They were on break for family and educational reasons at the time.
2003 He joined the School of Fine Arts of Versailles (engraving section).
2005 After his diploma from the EBAV, he learned the Hayter Method and the burin in the Atelier Contrepoin (ex-Atelier 17 of Stanley William Hayter) to deepen his knowledge of engraving, and to experiment there.
2006 While nourishing himself with new things, the art he knew from his native country during his childhood, came back to him constantly at the same time. He decides to abandon all the techniques he has learned from the fine arts before, for a more personal research on the variations of the line, in order to create his own language of expression which is like a pictorial writing.
2012 He is admitted to the collective engraving workshop of the Cité internationale des arts and to continue his research there.
2021 He is currently in residence at the OpenBach to develop his personal projects.
