"In the tiny town of Emigrant, MT just outside of the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park, lies a little treasure known as the Old Saloon. It's a charming dive bar that has welcomed some of the biggest music talent passing through and the local drinkers that keep the liquor stocked daily. It's a place where you'll see a familiar face or end up staying until closing time with new folks who treat you like family. The bartenders give you just the right amount of sass accompanied by a cold one along with a smirk if you're lucky. For this photo, I reached out to some of the regulars who frequent this bar and staged a setup around the pool table. My biggest goal was convincing the owner to let us bring a horse into the bar and have her interact with the scene. He looked at me with hesitation but also an intrigued look on his face. As you can see we made it happen. As the horse paused for just a brief moment and looked at one of the cowboys taking his turn on the table, I knew that was my shot. This photo showcases the chaotic and crazy times that have taken place here at this history-rich watering hole. From bar fights to two strangers finding love, these walls have seen it all. I call this artwork, "Trouble At The Old Saloon." A little bit of trouble never hurt anyone."

Presentation
Beau Simmons has been a professional photographer since 2009. Initially known for his work as a fashion photographer, collaborating with renowned brands like Marc Jacobs, Guess Jeans, and Converse, he became a sought-after photographer for top modeling agencies like Elite Models, IMG, and Ford Models.
However, Beau's heart lies in the Western lifestyle and the beauty of the American landscape. Transitioning away from fashion, he now focuses on capturing the essence of this culture through medium and large-format film photography. He has worked on some of the largest ranches in the United States, both on and off horseback, documenting the lives of cowboys across diverse landscapes. Inspired by masters like Richard Avedon, Slim Aarons, and Steven Shore, his work evokes nostalgia and emotion, preserving authentic moments from a forgotten era.
A strong advocate for veterans, Beau's storytelling culminated in his first coffee table book, The Twenty-Year War, created in collaboration with combat veterans, followed by a traveling exhibition in various museums after its release in 2021. He actively supports numerous causes, including cancer research, partnering with organizations like The American Cancer Society and the Careity Foundation. His collaboration with writer and Director of the hit television series Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan, unveiled the timeless allure of the Four Sixes Ranch, offering an indelible tribute while championing cancer support services.
In just three years as an artist, Beau showcased his work at Art Miami, one of the world's largest art fairs, where he gained significant recognition and established a strong presence in the art community. This experience has since opened doors for further leading art fairs, exhibitions, and collaborations, allowing him to share his unique vision with a broader audience. His dedication to authenticity and storytelling continues to inspire, paving the way for new and exciting opportunities in the art world.
