Biography
Carlos Diaz is a painter from Barcelona, born in 1968.
He is one of the most well-known Spanish painters of his young generation. Carlos Diaz has managed to add realism to a contemporary style.
In Carlos Diaz's work, the processing of light and chiaroscuro is key, in order to develop composition. The artist brings beauty to objects and mundane places. Streets, vehicles and sea are his main themes. Absence of any human presence is a recurrent theme in his work.
Carlo Diaz's work has been presented in several galleries and contemporary art fairs around Europe. He has known great success. He was selected among a great number of Spanish realism artists to exhibit at the Panorama-Musem de Bad Frankenheuse in Germany.
