Biografía
Diana Thorneycroft es una artista de Winnipeg que ha presentado varios estudios corporales en Canadá, Estados Unidos y Europa, así como en Moscú, Tokio y Sydney. A pesar de que es reconocida principalmente por sus pinturas fotográficas, también trabaja en la instalación escultórica y sus dibujos han sido objeto de varias exposiciones. El trabajo de Thorneycroft está plagado de humor negro y examina cuestiones relacionadas con la identidad y el cuerpo que sufre. Receptor de varios premios y distinciones, su trabajo se presenta en galerías de Montreal, Toronto y Los Ángeles. La revista Canadian Art seleccionó el trabajo de Thorneycroft "Grupo de los siete momentos incómodos" como una de las "10 mejores exposiciones de 2008". Algunas piezas de esta exposición individual se encuentran actualmente de gira por Canadá y se presentan en el Centro Cultural Canadiense en París.
