Presentación
Celso Castro es un referente de las artes visuales del Caribe colombiano que lleva más de cuatro décadas dibujando, pintando, esculpiendo y fotografiando penes.
En sus obras, Castro exalta los genitales masculinos, poniendo en tensión los límites impuestos por el sistema sexo/género que son parte de un orden patriarcal y falocéntrico indiscutible. La mayoria de los hombres
Quienes retrata son habitantes de la costa colombiana, construyendo también formas alternativas de concebir la identidad latinoamericana.
Rompiendo tabúes sobre la corporalidad y la sexualidad masculina, su obra ha sido censurada en numerosas ocasiones debido a acusaciones públicas de inmoralidad y pornografía.
