Description
The gesture imposes itself forcefully on a dark background. Fluid lines intertwine in a spontaneous movement. The paint flows. It traces vertical grooves that rhythmize the composition.
The contrast of colors structures the space. A deep blue dialogues with flashes of yellow and orange. Touches of acid green punctuate the whole.
The approach recalls the codes of graffiti and urban art. The line is free. It explores the tension between chaos and control. The white projections add an aerial dimension, like a rain of light on a night sky.
The energy diffuses in each superposition of material. The canvas becomes the terrain of a visual improvisation. The eye circulates between the loops and the drips.
The whole is framed by a black and sober profile. This border emphasizes the luminosity of the pigments and contains the effervescence of the line. Each shade brings a different depth to this abstract composition.
The Titan will be accompanied by its workshop certificate bearing the signature of JonOne.
The majority of deliveries in Metropolitan France will be handled by the services of our private art transport carriers.
Presentation
JonOne, born John Andrew Perello in 1963 in New York, is a world-famous graffiti artist and painter of Dominican descent. Known for his innovative approach to street art, JonOne began his artistic journey at 17, graffitiing the streets of Harlem. His distinctive style challenges the traditional "rules" of urban art, embodying the concept of "freestyle," which allows him to create without limits.
A major retrospective entitled “Carte Blanche" is currently on display at Fluctuart in Paris, from September 11 to December 21, 2025. This exhibition traces JonOne's 40 years of production, from his early experiments to his most recent works. In addition, his works can be seen in the temporary exhibition “Panorama" at the Chapelle de l'Observance in Draguignan, open until September 27, 2025. Coming soon, Speerstra Gallery in Paris is planning an exhibition of JonOne's work entitled “Freedom" from October 11 to November 8, 2025.
Growing up in the vibrant neighborhood of Harlem, JonOne's work was deeply influenced by hip hop culture, street life, and the underground scene. His art often incorporates elements from the metro and cityscapes, creating a unique fusion of urban experience and contemporary art.
A self-taught artist, JonOne transitioned from graffiti to canvas painting after relocating to Paris in 1987. There, he immersed himself in the Parisian art world, collaborating with renowned artists like Speedy Graphito and LAII. His move to Paris marked the beginning of his international career, quickly earning him recognition in both the street art and contemporary art scenes.
JonOne's graffiti-inspired paintings are characterized by dynamic compositions where color takes center stage. His vibrant palettes and intricate use of tones and contrasts convey both spontaneity and precision. Whether through curvy or straight lines, symmetrical or asymmetrical designs, JonOne's works blend improvisation with meticulous design. The result is abstract art that bursts with life, inviting viewers to engage with the fluidity and energy of his strokes.
Beyond the gallery world, JonOne's art has transcended into high-end brand collaborations. The artist has worked with prestigious brands such as Lacoste, Hennessy, Air France, and Perrier, among others, cementing his influence in both the art and fashion worlds.
In 2023, JonOne showcased his latest solo exhibition, The World of Tomorrow, at the Musée du Touquet, further solidifying his reputation as a pioneer in the global art scene.
