Geometría del Movimiento Equino, 2026

Silvia Cereijo

This imposing and dynamic work in acrylic on canvas is integrated into the style of contemporary figurative abstraction with marked influences from synthetic cubism, orphism, fauvism, and Pop Art, distinguished by its rigorous deconstruction of space into mosaic planes and the vibrant orchestration of its triangular facets. The composition presents head-on the agile and powerful figure of a horse in full gallop, whose body mass and mane in the wind decompose into a complex prism of polygonal shapes that integrate harmoniously with the flat background. The artist deploys a saturated and luminous color palette that balances fields of cobalt blue, ocher, and violet with ardent blocks of carmine red, ochre yellow, terracotta orange, and emerald green, delimited by fine and sharp linear contours that structure the spatial acceleration. Through this synthetic deconstruction and the clear definition of its geometries, the creator seeks to express pure energy, the untamable spirit of freedom in motion, and the poetic beauty that emerges by transfiguring the animal's impetus into a lyrical kaleidoscope of color, vigor, and plastic transcendence.
