The origin of this work is difficult to trace.
A mixture of different influences: the taste of repetition of the gesture found in certain artists minimalists, among the surface-support artists, the pencil lines of Agnès Martin, obsessive pointillism of Aboriginal art, the definitive gesture of Lucio Fontana.
It's about going to the limits of the material's resistance canvas, to make a hole in the fullness of the canvas.
Incisions, holes, scarifications open a third dimension in the two-dimensional space of the canvas.
Conceptual, gestural, speculative, meditative, automatic, cathartic...

Born in Nice in 1958, he worked for many years as a roughman, illustrator and Artistic Director in the world of communication agencies after a BA A7 (visual arts), an IUT in Marketing Advertising and philosophy studies.
In parallel with his work in an agency, he starts a personal plastic work
and participates in collectives of street art artists and 16 mm. After a diploma of superior technician in audiovisual communication (Cadase Toulon 1995-1996) he is a director of training films (at Gemplus, world leader in smart cards).
- 2003: he exhibits his sculpted soles at the Anatole Jakovsky Museum in Nice.
- Reporter Reporter of Images (Aqui TV, F3 Aquitaine), he presents in 2005
a show dedicated to the Raw and Singular Artists on Nice-Television.
- 2006: Exhibition at the Cloister of Arts Avignon.
- Since 1999, he has produced and directed documentary or institutional films
dedicated to the world of art and medico-social without neglecting
a long personal plastic work of which he keeps the memory in his video-journal
of which we find excerpts on YouTube:

paper, masks ...
Over the years he has been able to build a network of collectors.
- In addition to his creative work, he regularly animates since 2012
arts-plastic / video workshops for the National Education (high schools
and colleges - Rhône - Alpes) and for municipalities (Cannes - 06).
- In June 2016 and June 2017 he presented his work as a visual artist during
an ephemeral workshop (2 x 3 weeks) in the Art Gallery "La Maroquinerie"
in Nantua (01).
