Realized in December 2018. This lyrical abstract painting evokes a kind of hair, or roots, or a nervous system, or an aquatic stringy plant, or a waterfall, in black and white tones. All this seems to fall from a dark and blue orifice from which we can guess the origin of the colors. International shipping Sent rolled in a tube. This method is especially safe, and provides lower shipping costs as well. Rolled works can be easily stretched and eventually framed by a local framer upon arrival. Presentation
Artist Statement:
After artistic studies at Paris, I have been painting in various parts of the world for more than 20 years. From my native Champagne to Crete, Limousin to Benin and after ten years in Madagascar, i have been living in the Reunion island where the varied landscapes are a great inspiration.
Through all the shapes and colors existing in nature, i try to decipher the messages, the vibratory language, by using them as a pure mode of expression, beyond the symbolic, beyond what is recognizable as an object, beyond words, beyond what we can see.
Each of my paintings is a representation of the questions I ask myself, doubts and discoveries, a slice of the experience of my feelings, a graphic interrogation of our existence and our essence.
These are snapshots of my soul.
I paint the world as i perceive it in its mystery.
