Presentation
From the age of 16 Jean Chauchard (sculptor) made me work on anatomy, around 19 Henri Guibal (painter) was my drawing teacher, then I diligently followed the fine arts courses at the same time as I was studying medicine. I continued to paint while working as a dentist until 2013. The death of my wife made me rethink my priorities in life and I resumed painting full time. While I am still in contact with my masters Henri and Jean, for over a year, we have been discussing a lot with Jean Reverdy (painter) on the philosophical and technical aspects of our painting. I am not looking for anatomical accuracy, my approach is rather dreamlike. Many of my works are related to the sea because I am a diving instructor and have visited oceans all over the world. My favorite medium is the back of oilcloths (the ones you place on your kitchen tables), it's one of my trademarks, like my colors that some will find garish.
