Description
An ordinary day in New York: Eclectic Urban Fantasy Artwork | Central Park, Superman, Precious Stones, Gold, Green & Blue.
Imagine a serene scene in Central Park, where two elegant white swans glide gracefully across a shimmering lake or pond, nestled among lush trees. Warm sunset evening. The trees are adorned with semi-precious stones. The entire idealistic image evokes classical art or tapestries.
This picturesque moment is suddenly interrupted by the sight of Superman soaring through the sky, cape billowing in the wind. This whimsical artwork captures the essence of modern art by juxtaposing tranquility with unexpected chaos, creating a humorous narrative that resonates with viewers.
This piece embodies the spirit of modern art through its playful irony and cultural commentary. By blending the idyllic beauty of nature with the fantastical elements of superhero lore, the artist invites us to reflect on the contrasts of urban life. In a world where fantasy often collides with reality, this artwork exemplifies how modern artists challenge conventional perceptions, making us laugh while inviting deeper contemplation.
For anyone who loves American culture, this painting serves as an ideal gift. It encapsulates the essence of New York City — a place where elegance and chaos coexist. The inclusion of Superman not only nods to American pop culture but also evokes nostalgia for classic comic book heroes.
Materials: Decorative acrylic painting with precious stones. Natural stones: aventurine, fluorite, jasper, obsidian, agate, onyx, turquenite, prehnite, quartz, serpentinite, turquoise, carnelian, amazonite, cat's eye chrysoberyl. Base - canvas stretched
Presentation
Irina: "I am full-time artist. I find my happiness in doing art. Art is a part of my soul, my energy, my vision of the world. I consider myself a multi-faceted artist, I like to experiment with materials. I realized that I can create beauty not only with paints. I create three-dimensional artworks with volumetric elements. I work in two directions: mosaic paintings and wall sculpture art. I use decorative found objects, mosaic, plaster, wood, shells, crystals, gemstones, anything that can realize my ideas. My art is full of life and joy. The main theme is a Woman, her life, thoughts, feelings, relationships with people and the world".
