Biography
Yannis Lagresle is an artist from La Loire. When he was 16, he leaned towards the work of the earth. He depicts characters in patinated terracotta. A self-taught artist, he has two passions, sculpture and recycling objects.
Divert, form and transform ... Yannis Lagresle plays with the objects. He gives a second life to this objects, and to our childhood spirit. His creations often made in metal: horns, propellers, cylinders, presses ... are not devoid of onirism. His characters, sweet dreamers, seem timeless and ageless. They wear clothes impregnated with humor and tenderness. Each object, rocket or car, crystallizes an exacerbated sensibility. Free expression and free interpretation are the key words with which the artist makes his objects.
His works are exhibited in several galleries throughout France.
