Céline Weber, 45 years old artist, spent her youth in sub-Saharan Africa. She now lives in Épône, a small village in the Yvelines near Paris. She wields the brush, trowel, knife … to pursue her passion : painting, mainly abstract.
Over time, her meetings, her emotion, her daring and her influences (Basquiat, Manolo Valdes, Pierre Soulages …), inspiration gives free rein to her creativity in constant progression.
“I like the material, color, expression of the trait in all its complexity. I like to take time to forget the time … Create !”
She said all to her painting, without fear of pitfalls. Absolutely no attempt to conquer the slightest gaze on her work. This freedom is the essence of density, relief, aesthetics that spring paintings of all formats it feeds in acrylic.
