Biography
Thierry Genay is a French photographer, born in 1958.After studying at the Fine Arts school in Bordeaux, he moved to Toulouse where he still works and lives.
His artistic approach revolves around still life. The latter goes comes into being after intense reflection, he mirrors lifestyles, humanist mundane reality, illustrative or spiritual, reflection on nature's harmony, but it also mirrors intimacy.
Through his harmonious compositions and pure photos, Genay combines still life with contemporary art. In a paradoxical manner, once can perceive some Flemish influences, the artist's rich universe.
Thierry Genay regularly exhibits in France but also fairs in Belgium and UK.
