Biography
A self-taught artist who began her practice in 2008, developing a personal visual language about emotion and memory. In 2015, she incorporated the study of cross-modality as a conceptual axis, exploring the correspondences between the senses and the possibility of generating an expanded sensory experience between the work, the viewer, and various arts such as music, gastronomy, and performance.
In 2018, he began a series of self-managed projects that marked a turning point in his artistic practice, focusing his attention on mental health as the conceptual and vital axis of his work to date.
His work has been presented in exhibition spaces, galleries, embassies, and international fairs in Argentina, Italy, Spain, France, and the United Kingdom. Recent solo exhibitions include I'm Not Alone (Melaká Art Gallery, Bogotá, 2024); Depression Anatomy (Firma de Arte, Bogotá, 2022); Pleasure Synesthesia (Casa 73-22, Bogotá, 2021); Inside My Mind (Melaká Art Gallery, Bogotá, 2019); and Animal Soul (Galería Casa Valhalla, Bogotá, 2017).
In 2019, he published his first literary work, Inside My Mind, a project that expands his research on mental, emotional, and perceptual processes from an intimate and symbolic perspective, developed during 2018.
His participation in group exhibitions includes Aqua Art Miami (USA), Premio Arte Anima Latina (Rome); Salón de Arte Figurativo y Representacional (Bogotá); Arte en la Red, Casa de América (Madrid); Passepartout, Consulate of Colombia (Paris); Bienal Internacional de Suba (Bogotá); Ilustres, Espacio Independiente; Aldente 14 (Buenos Aires); Redibujando Bogotá; Imagen y Palabra, Universidad Los Libertadores; Salón de Ilustración, Club El Nogal; Quinestecia, Teatro R101; and Expoink, Casa Cartel Urbano.
