Christophe Lachize was born in 1969, he lives and works in Lyon. Thanks to his subtle palette of gray and white, the artist invites us into his secret world of tranquility and harmony, a journey through timeless landscapes, always on the border of abstraction. "My paintings are landscapes only by the opportune presence of a tree; a recurring motif which finalizes, punctuates the end of the research." Former photographer, in search of a pictorial language of his own, it is as an autodidact that the artist confronted painting. To this day, his technique combines acrylic paint, ink and wax on wood or paper.
