For the start of the school year, the Gilbert Dufois gallery (Paris) is very happy to present a new exhibition combining paintings and sculptures with the artists François Glineur and Pierre Voituriez, entitled Dialogue. A sculptor, a painter, each with a perfect mastery of his art borrowing from this little note of fantasy, far from a conventional art. Originally: a meeting between a fox and a wolf, two animals often present in their creations. From there is established a real dialogue and a respect between these two singular artists with strong personalities. When one plunges us into mythology by bringing forth explosive characters, the other offers us his expressive bestiary. François paints scenes of everyday life, enriched by all his readings. Pierre takes us on his morning walks, where he draws his inspiration. Both live their art in the depths of themselves, put their personality into it, don't you find in one of the piercing looks that are specific to it, almost human animal attitudes? While the other paints characters with sulphurous eyes and buxom creatures. If Pierre's sculptures give us an impression of ease and obviousness, they are only the result of reflections, research and observations, once all this has been built in his mind, the realization goes without saying. For painting, François knows perfectly well where he is going when he finds himself facing the white canvas. However, the public needs a little time to appropriate a painting, before discovering all its richness, they need to penetrate this so explosive universe which is specific to it. This alchemy operating, a dialogue is established.
