Bethany Nakamarra Langdon is an Australian painter born in Yuendumu in 1989. When she was little, she moved to Alice Springs with her mother Charlotte Langdon. It was during this period of her life that her grandmother taught her to paint. Her grandmother and her mother are both renowned painters. After finishing her studies, Bethany Nakamarra Langdon left to live in Yuendumu.
Bethany Nakamarra Langdon draws her inspiration from her aboriginal culture to create her compositions. Art allows her to fight against oblivion, to perpetrate the history and that of her ancestors.
She is part of the Warlukurlangu Artists Art Corporation, a center of aboriginal art whose purpose is to make aboriginal art famous in Australia.
