He got a degree in graphic design and serigraphy from La Cambre ENSAV, he was a pupil of Jean-Pierre Point, Stéphan Jossart currently teaches drawing and graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode. The origin of his work comes from the careful observation of nature and the interconnection of all its components (humans, living beings, sediment, air, water....). During his recollections in the nature, he has gathered an ensemble made up of microorganisms, insects, branches, bone remains etc. He then photographs his findings the same way that a scientific will and manipulates the images using digital tools. He does other retouches as well such as drawing, color, blur and adds artificial objects, portions of animals and human beings. Resulting in a strange disparate structure which resembles something beween a shell, a planet or a stone.
