Born in 1984 - Brazil
Daniella de Moura is an artist and researcher in visual arts, born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in 1984, she lives and works in Paris since 2010. She is a doctoral student in visual art and aesthetics at the Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University since 2011. Previously she studied at the Visual Arts School at the Federal university of Minas Gerais in Brazil.
Understanding the art research as critical reflexions and aesthetic analyzes inside the process of creation itself, de Moura develops a research witch has as object the body’s organicity from an experimental perspective. The body and its residues are used as material and support for the realization of installations, performances, videos and photographs that embody poetically gender, abjection, eroticism and death.
